Subject: City of Fresno - All Volunteer Christmas Tree

In 2010 we were able to once again place a Christmas Tree in front of Fresno City Hall and we are excited to do it again for 2011! A group of community volunteers are working together to once again decorate and display a Christmas Tree in front of Fresno’s City Hall. In order for these events to be successful, there are many things that need to happen which all require funding. The Volunteers are asking businesses and citizens in the Fresno area to support this effort by making cash donations to purchase necessary supplies to decorate and light the tree. Your generous support is needed to make the display of this beautiful Christmas Tree possible. The City of Fresno, specifically Mayor Ashley Swearengin and City Manager Mark Scott, wholeheartedly support this effort and encourage your donation and/or participation in this volunteer effort to place a Christmas Tree in front of Fresno City Hall. Please e-mail fresnotreelighting@gmail.com if you’d like more information or to make a donation. Please make checks payable to the City of Fresno and please note "Purchasing" in the memo line to enable us to best track the source of the donations. Thank you
